  • I started having migraines at around age 11. They have come and gone over the years, sometimes getting so bad I'd have to go to the emergency room for medications. This last year they have been at their worst, having 3-5 weekly that would end up with me stuck in the bathroom throwing up, having to give myself a medicated suppository to make the dry heaving stop. I went on FMLA for a while because I was not able to make it through work. Things were looking bleak and I was feeling like I was stuck in a migraine pit of despair. I had tried all the medications out there that were available to me and nothing had helped. My neurologist gave me two last options, botox or a monthly injection. Even checked in on my progress days after my appointment. I am now 4 sessions in and I can't tell you how life-changing it has been. I haven't been on the bathroom floor hugging the toilet in over a month, my migraines continue to improve becoming less in intensity and duration, I have more energy and just feel good.   • I first started seeing Dr. Sonny on the referral of a friend after being in an accident. I hadn’t had much experience with acupuncture previously due to a dread of needles. That was never an issue with Dr. Sonny. I hardly felt the needles and it was often quite relaxing; there were even times I fell asleep.
